BioEmotionless man,
Who me loved,
Spoke foreign words from his phallus
And knew nothing but himself.
He cried his own tears.
He smelt his own breath.
He spoke his own truth.
And I believed.
Now, years later,
I perceive the lack of intercourse as a direct threat to my womanhood.
Words, never spoken,
Broken vows, never promised,
Shatters the remains of my heart.
I pretend to cry.
Tears spill out of my eyes,
Role down my face,
Gather at my chin,
And descend to the shallow puddle beneath my feet.
Under the splatters lies a distorted image,
As the rainbow appears, so does she,
Narcissus,
Looking up at me,
With her beautiful swollen brown eyes.
I bend down,
Grab her delicate arm,
Pull her up,
And nurse her gently,
Until all her pains are healed.
We fall deeply in love and live happily ever after.
